Country music legend Jean Shepard dies; was Grand Ole Opry staple
Shepard was survived by her husband Benny Birchfield and her sons Don Robin Hawkins,. Upon entering the house, police found the body of Hawkins' 21-year-old ex-boyfriend, Travis Sanders. He had been shot a total of five times, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
